We are trying to redefine something new with DarkRP, so you all might not be familiar with the rules here. I'll do my best to run down so you get the general idea of it! Basic Server Rules: 1. RDM is allowed, only to a certain extent. You do need a reason to kill someone, even if it's just out of spite for the person you kill, so you can't just go on a killing spree whenever you please. 2. We DON'T abide by NLR rules here. If you were to be raided, and you die, you can run back and keep fighting. Be in mind you still can't fading door abuse, so if your valuables are worth protecting, keep it to a minimum. 3. Most of the government jobs will be private. Only at a certain hour with your playtime can you apply for Police Trainee. This is to ensure that Police are on best behaviour, and can react to situations in the best way possible. Once you pass Police training, you will be able to access certain government jobs. 4. You'll notice there's no jobs like Thieves, or Hitmen. That's because it's all done with the standard Citizen job. It's to keep anonymity within RP to it's fullest potential.  5. Advert doesn't exist on this server, for good reason. For example, if someone were about to rob you, or raid your home in real life, you wouldn't see it coming. 6. The reason you are earning little money, and stuff is expensive is because we want you to feel rewarded for getting what you have. On most servers, you take your money for granted. If you're not careful, you could be at risk of losing it. Use your inventory wisely, because if you lose your weapons, you could be back at square one. [b]Standard Job rules:[/b] [b]Citizen: [/b]If you're not doing anything important, this is the general role you're going to want to play. Everything revolves around the citizen. You can own a gun, you can raid, you can mug, you can kidnap, you can do everything a criminal can do. [b]Pet: [/b]The idea behind this job is that you are someones Pet. Whoever wants you. There's not much you can really do other than follow them around and just be a loyal pet. [b]Bum: [/b]As a standard, you are nothing more than a Hobo. You can go around begging people for money, or you can hope you can get a job somewhere. A $10 salary isn't going to get you far. You are allowed to mug people and kidnap them, but there's not much else you can do. [b]Government Job Rules:[/b] [b]Paramedic: [/b]I'll start off with the first and only public EMS job. All you do is heal people and keep them alive, and work closely with Police at the crime scene to make sure no one dies from their wounds. [b]Police Trainee: [/b]At your 6 hour game time mark, you can apply on the forums to become a police officer. As a Trainee, you cannot be corrupt. You will have to state on the application whether after training you will or will not be corrupt once you finish training. Once you start Training, you will be on a ridealong with a Police Officer anywhere between 1-3 hours in real time to get the idea on being Police. If your Overwatch deems you a necessary Trainee, you will be whitelisted into Police, where you can access Police Officer and Undercover Police, varying on your playstyle. If he thinks you're unsuitable, you won't be accepted into the Police Force, and you will have to try again 3 days after your previous application. [b]AS A POLICE TRAINEE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEARN A FEW POLICE CODES. PLEASE STUDY IT![/b] [b]Police Officer: [/b]Once you finish training, you will be an independant Officer of the Law. Here's the choice you get to pick: good cop, or bad cop. You should know how to play this job. [b]Undercover Police: [/b]You are a standard Police Officer, but you're undercover. Your job is to get intel on potential criminals to bring them down. [b]Police Chief: [/b]After one week of being a Police Officer, you can apply on the forums to become Police Chief. As a P.C you get to boss around all the Police Officers.  With staff approval, you are allowed to fire police officers. [b]Police Comissioner:  [/b]You're the big boss of the Police Department. Your orders come directly from the President to give to the Law Enforcement. Your word is above the Police Chief. [b]President: [/b]What you say throughout the whole city goes. You can order the C.I.A to do your dirty work, and you can give the Police direct orders. You cannot fire any Law Enforcement. [b]F.B.I: [/b]You don't work for the Police, or the President. You are a freelance F.B.I agent from outside the city. You get to work with the Police Comissioner to take out any gangs or crime out of the city. [b]C.I.A: [/b]You take orders directly from the President. You don't listen to anybody else. If the president wants you to do something illegal, you do it. Just bare in mind you are able to be busted by the Police for doing illegal activies under the Presidents' orders. [b]Extended Crime rules:[/b] [b]Arms Dealer: [/b]You sell weaponry to the criminal underground. Just note that selling any weapon is highly illegal unless you have a gun license. [b]Corrupt Medic: [/b]You are a Paramedic that rebelled against the Law. You can work with any criminals doing anything. [b]Crack Dealer: [/b]You cook and sell meth to people in need of it. This is highly illegal, but will fetch a good price. [b]Mercenary: [/b]A gun-for-hire. You are freelance and can work with the good guys or the bad guys to do their bidding. [b]Militia: [/b]Once the Counter-Terrorism unit, you rebelled against the government, now you want to take it over and start a Communist city. [b]Terrorist: [/b]You can blow people up with no consequence, but only once every 30 minutes. [b]Building rules:[/b] 1. You are only allowed to build within the confines of a building, unless you're a Bum. If you're a Bum, you can start a little camp on the street. 2. You are only allowed 3 fading doors per pase, with a timer of 5 seconds opening to close. 3. You are allowed ONE killhole per base. 4.
